Women can suddenly develop allergic-type reactions to products they have been using for years. In some cases, the sun is the real culprit, creating the environment in which your lips can suddenly become sensitive to an ingredient in the lipstick you wear. If you do find yourself developing an allergic-type reaction to lipstick, here are some ingredients that might be responsible: fragrance, guanine, lanolin, oleic acid, D&C Red # 21, D&C Red # 27, D&C Orange # 5 and benzoin.
