Q. I seem to be developing tiny black moles on my face (especially on the cheeks). What are these and how are they formed? How can they be removed? I am 23 years old.

A. From your age and the recent onset of your problem, it is likely that you do not have freckles, lentigines or naevocellular naevi. Probably you have plane warts or filiform warts. You need to be seen by a dermatologist to make a diagnosis before any treatment can be contemplated.
