It’s time to put away the super hold hair spray, and soften the severity of the classic up dos. Wear them this summer a little soft  messy, and ultra feminine.
Chunky cascading waves sashaying around your shoulders do look good. But there’s something to be said about a soft, slightly messy up do. The femininity of the style works well with summer’s flowing dresses. The added advantage of wearing your hair up is that it elongates a petite frame, and shows off a pretty neck and shoulder to their best advantage. It definitely has a slimming effect.
The style this season is less done up, with a casual chic undertones. Instead of a super hold hairspray zto fix every strand in place, use products that add texture to your hair. Try wide toothed comb to scrape back hair for a more romantic style. No matter which style you choose let a few wisps of hair fall out here and there.
POLISHED BUT NOT PRIM
This is a universal style that will go as well with your formal sari as you LBD. To cop this look apply text rising serum to your partially dried hair, and let it air dry. Then scrape back the top portion of your hair till the temple and pin it at the back middle of your head, Gather hair into a low ponytail. Roll the tail up, spreading it out to hide the base, and pin up at the top with bobby pins. Finish with a shine spray on the splayed our bun at the back.
FRENCH TWIST IN A MESS
This is a raked back, high shine, but rough twist that gives off a casual vibe. Take air dried hair and coat it from an inch below the root till the tips with a shine serum. Now comb your hair back with your finger. Roughly part your hair at the middle, and pull it back in a low ponytail, then start rolling your hair in a loose French twist. Instead of tucking the ends roll it at the top into a small bun and pin up.
TEASED AND VOLUMINOUS
This is quite a retro style that gets a modern twist due to the rough edge texture of the style, and the slightly messy feel. It looks elegant yet strong. For this style mist damp hair with a volumising spray, and then  set on large hot rollers. Once the hair is set, use a brush to gently tease hair at the crown form the bottom up to the roots. Ten gently skin the top of your head to smoothen and scoop hair at back into a low ponytail. Then twist the close to the head to form the French roll. Anchor the roll with pins. Pull out few wisps to frame your face.
ROMANTIC BUT ELEGANT
This is an extremely feminine style that will work well in formal look long flowing gown with a Grecian silhouette comes to mind. To get the look, apply a volumisign mousse to damp hair, and blow dry using a large barrel brush. Part hair in the middle, and separate two locks of hair from each side of the face. Roll them up in hot curlers. Then comb rest of the hair back and hold in a ponytail in the middle of your head, and twist it round in a loose chignon, secure with pins. Take out the curlers and twirl the locks in place framing your face. Finally, fix a leather bun/ponytail holder at the base of the bun.
